Half a year ago, after many long years, I deleted all my social media accounts. It wasn’t so much a step toward digital freedom—it was more a way to express my disgust at how the owners of those platforms openly supported Trump. It felt absurd watching algorithms amplify toxic rhetoric and normalize dangerous ideologies. I no longer wanted to be part of that environment.
But after I left, quite a few people told me they missed my deep dives into punk history, my takes on political events, or just my scattered life musings. And since I still feel the occasional urge to write, I’ve decided to give it a home right here.
Don’t expect regularity, carefully constructed arguments, or systematic analysis. I’ll write when I feel like it, about whatever grabs me or brings me joy—from politics to music to life in London or my travels.
